"Is there a 'new normal' after the crises?" – under this motto, the confectionery trade association SG Network hosted the 23rd International Confectionery Congress from 22 to 24 November 2023 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin. Keyaniyan sponsored the exclusive event for the fourth time in a row and welcomed interested visitors to its stand.
This year, the approximately 600 guests from the confectionery industry, retail and logistics expected once again lectures by top-class speakers from Germany and abroad. The thematic focus was on forward-looking solutions in the areas of artificial intelligence, social media and sustainability. A critical look at the effects of climate change and the energy transition on the confectionery industry was taken on the second day of the congress by ARD weather presenter Thomas Ranft, among others.
As a supporting programme, the "come together" at Gasthaus Löwenbräu on Potsdamer Platz and an evening visit to the gourmet floor of the lavishly renovated KaDeWe department stores offered good opportunities for an informal exchange of ideas.
