For decades, the Hamburg-based family business H.C.C.O. has made a name for itself in the cocoa trade and acts as a neutral partner to the international chocolate and confectionery industry for the supply of raw cocoa, cocoa butter, cocoa mass as well as cocoa powder from almost all origins.

The company builds on trusting customer relationships and focuses on personalised services. These range from individual advice on purchasing and the creation of cover and price hedging strategies, to mediation activities between the industry and the cooperatives and institutions in the countries of origin, to direct sourcing through its own representation in Côte d'Ivoire. Conscious of its social responsibility towards the people in the growing countries, HCCO promotes sustainable cultivation and is involved in various social projects.

Managed by the second generation of the family, the H.C.C.O team combines over 70 years of experience in the trade of raw cocoa and cocoa products as well as the marketing of rubber, annatto and cashew. The competences of the individual team members cover all areas of the value chain.
